Head of Internal Controls & Investigations

Salary: c. £85,000 + Car + Bonus + Benefits

Our client is a highly successful multinational with significant operational assets in the UK and West Europe.

The control function is a small but highly qualified audit team that works closely with the business to review and enhance the financial and operational controls environment. This team is also regularly asked to participate in project teams and to undertake ad hoc investigations including frauds and contract reviews.

Key responsibilities include;

The preferred candidate is likely to be a qualified accountant with previous Big 4/Top 10 firm experience. Some previous experience of forensic and fraud investigations would be of interest to the client. Candidates must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, strong commercial acumen and the ability to influence the decision making of senior management with their verbal and written reporting. Travel is mainly confined to short trips within the UK and one or two international trips per year.
